Health Inc.

Registered in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, HEALTH Inc is a membership-run NGO operating in Ladakh since 1992.

Our mission is providing access to the skills and knowledge that help people make informed decision about their future.

We partner with Government Departments, International NGOs and, first and always, with the villagers who want change in their communities.

In 2018 our projects focussed on three marginalized groups in Ladakhi society: Mothers and children with HIV/AIDS or Hep B; Differently-abled children and youth; and different learners struggling in the government school system.

Our current Board include President Geylong Konchok Phandey (the leading linguist in Ladakh), Tsering Dolkar (one of the best and most innovative village farmers) and Cynthia Hunt (facilitating learning for those with special needs).
